Trump’s Presidential Campaign Now Accepts SHIB, DOGE, Bitcoin
Donald Trump’s presidential campaign now accepts donations in cryptocurrencies, including Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Bitcoin (BTC). In a new update to Trump’s campaign website, the former President reveals that the campaign is “ready to embrace new technologies that will Make America Great Again,” being the first campaign ever to support cryptocurrency donations.
Donald Trump has become one of a small group of politicians and government officials to support cryptocurrency innovation. “The effort to reduce the control of government on an American’s financial decision-making is part of a seismic shift toward freedom,” the Trump campaign wrote in a press release. “Today’s announcement reflects President Trump’s commitment to an agenda that values freedom over socialistic government control.”
The move comes weeks after the former president declared himself “crypto’s candidate” at a Mar-a-Lago event. His statement pushed cryptocurrency further into the spotlight of important subjects of the upcoming election.

The Trump campaign press release also takes aim at senator Elizabeth Warren, who is one of the strongest opposers of crypto. “Biden surrogate Elizabeth Warren said in an attack on cryptocurrency that she was building an “anti-crypto army” to restrict Americans’ right to make their own financial choices. MAGA supporters, now with a new cryptocurrency option, will build a crypto army moving the campaign to victory on November 5th!”
The Trump Campaign now accepts the following cryptocurrencies for donations through Coinbase:

- Shiba Inu
- Dogecoin
- Ethereum Ether
- USD Stablecoin
- Solana SOL
- Ripple XRP
Trump’s embrace of cryptocurrency transcends mere fundraising tactics; it has evolved into a rallying cry for his supporters. Furthermore, many investment experts see Trump’s cosign of cryptocurrency will bode well for digital assets.
